I found this site and found it a pretty cool place to know how Discos (and others) rank in car crash integrity and how much risk of injury you might get under varying circumstances.

It can be found here: www.highwaysafety.org/vehicle_ratings/ratings.htm

OUCH! That looks awful! I hope the driver and passengers are OK. BTW, Garrett, I hope my comment earlier wasn't insensitive. I hope you weren't injured in that crash. Sorry if my comment was inappropriate.

Here's some photos of my study. Myself, my wife, and our 2 small children walked away from this wreck with barely a scratch:

Wow Tommy, I never remember those pics as bad as they really are. Major roll on the way to the Va State Fair, wasn't it? Chilling and miraculous all at the same time.

Yep.. it's was my 97 DI - rolled it on I95 , going 55mph, coming home from VA state fair. I was trying to avoid someone (jeep wrangler) who almost hit me in the left rear of the truck. (During rush hour, no less!) We came to rest on the shoulder of I95, upside down. Luckily we didn't hit any other vehicles. These things don't steer out of fishtails like a RWD sports car. :)

These photos were taken the day after the accident. I wasn't even sore, and I had a few minor glass cuts on my knees from crawling around in glass to get the kids out of their carseats. The rescue squad and police both said that they couldn't believe we alive, since it was such a violent and high speed wreck.

Got me a 2001 DII to replace this one.

Here's some more photos if interested: http://www.tombec.com/rover
