Very weird noise on front passenger side

Author Message   jesse a henning (Darw_n) Member Username: Darw_n Post Number: 47 Registered: 06-2003 Posted on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 - 09:09 am:    its been bothering me for months now, and i can't locate it. it sounds like the noise of the CD changer changing disks, without the 'clicking' sounds, but its not coming from the changer, as far as I can tell. And it only happens when I brake to a complete stop, and accelerate from a stop. Its very quiet too, sounds like a small motor is engaging, then disengaging. I almost thought it was a vent of some sort. Have someone walk along outside as you slowly begin moving forward. I just ccan't figure out why it makes that noise only when braking and accelerating. We have another car that does, and the motor in the mirror sounds very similar to a cd changer motor.
