My fridge is running, but not cooling. 12V and AC power/cords are fine and working. Both fuses are fine. There is no frost or liquid inside it, it is completely empty. I'm totally confident that I have not done anything to contribute to this problem.

I've been waiting for a call from the ARB tech dept since Monday. Has anyone else ever experienced this with their ARB/Engle fridge? I've looked, but I don't see a reset switch anywhere. Any ideas on how to get it working?

Thanks in advance, Jamie

i would guess that the a/c converter has gone bad. allowing voltage to flow but not enough amps to run the compressor. can you take it out and plug it into the wall.

ARB just called and they think the coolant gas leaked out.

They are going to do a cross shipment and send me out a new one. When it arrives, I will put mine in the box and send it back.

Thanks for your help, Jamie

Brian,

I purchased mine last summer from Bill and Rachel. I'm not sure how long the warranty period is.

We decided to do a cross shipment to save money since it is so heavy. I would have cost alot to ship mine back and forth from Florida to Washington and then back again. In addition, I will not be "fridgeless" until the new one arrive since I can use it like a cooler (with ice in it) as long as I keep the water drained out and don't store anything above the area where the element is behind the main compartment. I'm pretty happy about that, because my fridge is secured down with transit slide lock in the cargo area.

Now I can confirm that Bill and Rachel do have GREAT customer service if one ever has a problem with something purchased from them :-)

Jamie
