I recently purchased a used land rover tire cover for use on my disco. I've heard that there is a method (paint thinner?) that can be used to remove some lettering (dealer name / location) from the cover. Has anyone tried this, or any other method of removing lettering from the cover? I know this isn't much of a "technical question", but I don't want to dissolve a hole in the cover. Thanks
