I just finished rebalancing and rotating my tires (as one had suggested) to make the vibration disappear. Well, my tires are now rebalanced and the vehicle continues to vibrate between speeds of 45-51 mph while accelerating. It then disappears when the engine kicks in on 4th at 52mph. The vibration will appear again while accelerating over 70 mph. Another weird thing. If you accelerate slowly, there are times you will not hear the vibration. When the gas pedal is pushed abruptly, that's when the vibration is felt the most. Any ideas??? Thanks. |

If its your 95 or 94 you need to replace the rotoflex. |

It's a 96. If it's the cause, how much do you think the damage would cost? |

You have to try this test, If the vibes happen at a certian speed, 45 to 50 for example, but never any other speed, the vibe is withen the rotational items that are speed related, tires, drive shafts, wheels, If the vibe is associated with a rpm range, 3-3500 rpm, it is now associateg with the transmission, engine, pullies, harmonic balancer(if disco's have them), Hope this makes sense! Peter. |

Well actually sorry 96 had the roto as well. We have a complete conversion kit. Rear Drive Shaft and the flange kit for 250.00 shipped. Never replace it again. With the rotoflex you never can tell. If your truck is raised then I would go with the conversion kit. |

Changed my '96 to universal joint from rotoflex. ~4" lifted. All vibrations gone up to as fast as I'll ever go. (knock on wood this remains) Great mod. |
