It is time to replace the springs and shocks and know now would be the time to lift 2". I have read most posts on this subject but I still have a few questions.

1. What besides springs and shocks are needed to give the disco a little more clearance?

2. Are the OME med's with Nitrochargers really as "soft" as described here? How soft compared to stock? No winch or ARB bumpers so are Med's sufficient?

3. Who are the vendors people speak of here and how do you contact them?

4. What else should I consider? OME materials seem affordable but I might have a little "cheap bastard" in me.

Hugh-

Go Ducks!

I don't think there's anyone more knowledgable about OME suspensions than John Lee at Expedition Exchange. Read the OME page there to get all the info you need.

Hugh-

I'm looking at the Doetsch Enterprises Prerunner (8000 series) shocks, which can give you the longer travel you'll want with the lift. There are people who will barbeque me for saying this, but Rancho shocks are run by people all over in many different applications. Look at the RS8000 series.

OME's not your only option for shocks.
