Hello all, Well I bought some new BFG MT 255/85/16. I am putting them on a RRC but wondered if anyone could tell me what size bump stops would be best. I am thinking the 4.5 inch ones but thought maybe one of the Disco guys could advise me. By the way I am running RT springs, no spacers. About 2.5inch lift. I know I have to trim and that is no problem. Just wondering if I will need to replace the bump stops to keep the tires from hitting the top of the wells. Thanks in advance. gordo |

I am running 265/75/16 Dueler MT's with a 2" lift on my 95 disco and I have had no problem with the original bump stops. Unless you are really beating the hell out of it off road I dont think you would have a problem. Good luck |

I don't know about an RRC since it's a different critter, but on a buddy's DI, the problem wasn't the top of the wheelwell, but the back edge of the door. He had to change out control arms to keep the axle from letting the tire get into the door as much..... along with a good bit of trimming too. Hope the RRC is easier..... -L

I am considering putting a set of 255/65-16s on my wifes RRC LWB that I used for one year on my D2. Will I need to adjust or change the bump stops? |

Randy, No, not the bump stops. Those are stock diameter tires. Maybe the steering stops so you don't rub the radius arms on full lock. SC |
