Does my 03 Disco have the selector shaft on the transfer case to allow fitting of a CDL lever like others have installed on early Series II Discos? Anyone done the CDL mod on a 03? Thanks, Shannon |

You can retro-fit the '03 with the t-case and other required parts from the '04 disco to add the functionality. I know this has been successfully done. The parts come to about $2400 plus labor. My biggest concern is the warranty aspect. |

A cheaper way to do it would be to source a used LT230SE from a rolled or totalled truck and then just add one of the nice CDL actuators, metal lever, cable thingy or solenoid version. Replacing the tcase on a D2 is not a hard job. Takes longer to drop the y-pipe and frame x-members than the tcase itself. |
