I was driving at about 55mph and suddenly felt a VSS like symptom of off and back on of the engine. Right after I watched the speedometer needle go down to zero, no change in speed, and then after about 10 seconds it is working again. Any ideas? Tim |

Could be TPS. Happened to me, and that's what it was. |

A bad VSS will also cause the speedometer to stop working. |
