Most seem to run Euros in the center on the rack, Cornering on the outside up top, and fogs/cornering on the bumper. This is my next project ... thanks for the input.

And what about these "city lights" in the Euros?

Jim,

I was given the option for the city lights on my 4000 euros. Apparently they are hooked up to the parking lights and are used like day-time running lights.

My understanding is that some European jurisdictions don't allow use of headlights in the cities. These are supposed to add some additional lighting without the brightness of full head-lamps.

I ran 2 pencil beams in the middle of the rack, 2 euro beams on the out sides, 2 fog and one euro on my bumper($G). I really love the two pencils i have in the middle the beams puts out like a mile or so. if you would like i have some pics of my wiring job.

Frank , I guess it depends on where you live, here on the East Coast it sounds like the pencils would reach through to the next STATE! Thanks for the input-Jim

Hey Jim, I live in Snowy Syracuse, NY...LOL...it's a great combination. I aim the euros right in front of the truck, the pencils just past that and the cornering off to the side...it really works great on the trails here in the east. When we were running thru the desert, had to re-aim them...Also, get the 130 watt bulbs, they make a BIG difference....

A lot of times on trails, I just run the cornering beams on the rack with the IPF's on the Bumper. But when I need to reach out and touch someone; I engage the center beams.

Jim, if you do not go with the city light, that is one less wire per light you have to run.

Frank I bet it is great to hit the lights during a whiteout ... the 130's burn through the snow.
