You need to talk to Warren at Dailey's Goodyear Automotive Center located in Hillsboro. He has fixed my notorious P0125 code and they have the correct diagnostic equipment for Rovers. The number is 503-640-6059.

Try Ship's Mechanical Services, 503-252-5566.
Doug's shop has a great reputation.

Michael,
I need a brake job and wheel bearings repacked, as well as brake fluid flush. I am supplying new rotors. I called Ship's Mechanical and was quoted $400 to $500 for the work! $330 from the Jag shop. Brake Doctors quoted $150! I am able to do the brakes but have no garage or time. I have never done wheel bearing repack but again I have no garage to do the work. I was hoping to find a shop for future work as well, any other shops?
Tim

Tim,
Once you get my email, give me a call. I have a garage and would be more then happy to help you out. I got plenty of tools! (My email went to your "suspect email" folder)

Tim, I live in Olympia and only have used the dealer and Doug for work in Portland.
I would take the middle ground and give the Jag shop a try. They will most likely have the hub nut tool and experience needed to get the wheel bearings done correctly.
I once heard a saying that if your mechanic can fix a Jag they can fix any thing.
