Well my D2 finally got repaired. A senior traveling in the opposite direction made a left turn into us while we were going straight through an intersection. Said she did'nt see the Disco.

Maizie needed a new bumper, new foglight, new fender, all new plastic panels, new front door, hinges, all the flares were replaced, repairs to rear door, rear quarter and a new rear bumper. Had the shop save the old ft bumper so I can cut the lower dam off when it gets warmer. Luckily the wheel bearings were'nt damaged since it was hit hard enough to collapse the covers on the lug nuts.

Sorry for your loss - glad its back on the road though.

I can well believe it being a senior - we have a number of the gentle folk in the area I live that believe that a 30 mph speed limit is only relevant to the young folk. Couldn't beleive it two mornings ago when I got passed (its a no passing zone of course) by a member of the blue rinse brigade doing at least 50 mph. I wonder what excuse she'd of used if she had run over a child - the mind boggles.

Jeff
