Guys, what are the logistics or steps to trimming my d1? i have a 5" lift and i am buying the ECR fender flares. How much to i need to trim to fit 35's, and will there be any openings in the door panels? Also, i would like to keep the stock wheels....would a 2" wheel spacer do the trick? or would i need to get and offset wheel? |

Dave... I have these flares (a.k.a. "Rangie Spares" flares). You have to cut alot and don't be shy. 1st door is tricky, second is a breeze. I would HIGHLY advise you decrease suspension lift to 2-3" and go body lift...the combination of all 3 modifications is amazing! FWIW, I have 35" simex on now, and going 36" SX soon...the set-up I have ensures the most suspension cycling you may need for comps/daily/rocks. |
