S-Rated Tires

Author Message   Christian Kiely (Redrover47) Member Username: Redrover47 Post Number: 54 Registered: 09-2003 Posted on Sunday, January 25, 2004 - 02:22 pm:    I know people have had a hell of a time getting a shop to mount q-rated tires like BFG AT on their D2, but has anybody had problems getting an S-rated mounted like the Dueler AT Revo. I want to get the Duelers and want to know at what shops (chains-stores) people have had success. It is rediculous if a shop wouldn't mount a tire on a disco that is rated for 112 mph, considering I've never broken 80 mph in mine. Any thoughts? FWIW, I'm located in the boston area if anybody knows any local shops that will do it.   Matt Anderson (Disco01) Member Username: Disco01 Post Number: 165 Registered: 10-2003 Posted on Sunday, January 25, 2004 - 03:37 pm:    Sears auto center does not stock those tires but they should be able to order them. They do carry the BFG as well as several other upmarket all terrains. I had some Michelins put on there that are not stock size or rating and they said nothing.
