Does anyone know where the stock amplifier is located on a 1998 Discovery LE? I think the problem with the amp or it could be the deck, because half the time I can hear the music but there's hardly any power going to the speakers, even with the bass turned up. When the amp is working the stock speakers sound a lot more powerful. Any suggestions on how to fix? |

David, If not under the drivers seat check in the front passenger footwell. There is a plastic kick panel under the glove box on the door side. Remove that kick panel and its behind there. You are also going to have to remove the cardboardlike piece directly below the glovebox. Thats where it is on my 96. Drew |
