I will be doing my trans filter change and am thinking of dropping the oil pan and cleaning the pick up screen and pan. Is there anything strange that I need to know and do they use rubber(silicone) gaskets or do they use cork? This is on a '97 D1. |

On the '99 and the '97 that I've been into the pans on, they used RTV/Hylosil type stuff, instead of an actual formed gasket. -L
