Has any one used Griot's Garage products? If so did they work well?

Yes, I've used most of the Griot's Garage car cleaning/detailing products, and have been very impressed with the results. The car wash, paint cleaning clay, and best of show wax are great products and can really transform the look of your paint. I love the interior cleaner too, and the leather treatment also works very well. The rubber/plastic treatment is much better than Armorall in that it's not greasy.
I didn't see much difference when using the polish, the wheel cleaner is just ok, and the glass cleaner was average.

oops, forgot about Griot's Speed Shine, product - this stuff is awesome too. Also good in the house to clean/shine chrome, granite, marble, etc.

John Lee might chime in here - I remember he had a lot of good "shortcuts" with the Griot products.

I love Griot's Garage products. I wish I used it more often. My truck looks like shit right now.

It's bad. That poor little truck could definitely use some TLC.

I have used almost all of the Griot's Garage products. I have been very happy with everything I have especially like their interior products.

I doubt you'll regret it. Their detailing stuff is expensive but it's very good. Just stay away from the Taiwan pneumatic orbitals and the Facom tools.

I figure the new G4 deserves the best, at least to start with!

I'd be a little worried about the G4 decals with the machine polishers. What do you think about the paint clay cleaner with the graphics? Never had a car with decals like that.

oooooooooooh.

checking to see if I'm listing john?

Yep, better stay away from the Facom tools. If you just have a grungy British truck then you don't want them. You can just buy what you need off one of those greasy red, yellow and black lunch truck roach coaches you see driving around all over the place. Of course, if you also use your tools to work on German sports cars it might be worth the wait for mail order tools from France.

lol.

You shouldn't put any wax at all on the graphics, especially petroleum based. If you need to, you can use isopropyl alcohol to clean the vinyl.

Wax can delaminate the graphics and make them look like shit pretty quick.

Their auto maintenance stuff works great: the speedshine and interior cleaner are great.

My only gripe is their "shipping and handling charge", starts at $12.95! Last time I got something from them, I just about died: called the customer service and asked why so much: the rep hemmed and hawed about how wonderful the products were, and how everything has a lifetime warranty blah blah.. Nothing about the actual cost of handling and shipping.

I told him if there is a charge for the warranty, they should be upfront about it and say so: that type of hidden revenue enhancement pisses me off.
