It seems ot me I saw one that mounts to the top right above the spare tire. I have done a search here and on google and can't seem to find any info. Anyone know where I can buy one? Thanks. |

!? Lemme see if I got this straight... you want to mount a propane tank on the outside rear of the vehicle. I know I'm going to regret asking this, but why? (And, to answer your question, I have not see any such thing previously) |

I found the mount on the hannibal site. It's an option for the rack, or they seem to have one to mount it on the vehicle. I will likely have a lot in the cargo area and will want to use my rack. I don't want one for the rear for obvious reasons, but I figured whoever made the one I saw, might have something else suitable as an add-on for a rack. As it turns out. Hannibal has both rear mount and rack mount, so that gives me one more reason to buy a Hannibal rack. |

Gotcha. Fair enough. And yeah, the Hannibal racks sure do look nice. That's my next present to myself... |

Have you ever done road trips with a full propane tank in the cabin? It'll vent for days as the temp cycles. I've been looking for a way to safely mount it to the rear. The Hannibal setup looks pretty bomber, but it looks like Defender only. I'm sure a Disco version would sell. (at least to me...) |
