On another thread it was mentioned that the emissions warranty may be as long as 80k miles.. can anyone verify this and pair it with the number of years the warranty covers? (It sounds a bit high to me... Land Rover America is checking for me as well, but won't be able to respond for up to 3 business days.) And does anyone know if an independent Land Rover repair shop can do catalytic converter replacement under warranty - or if it's just Land Rover dealers? Many thanks. |

I'm pretty sure all emission components are federally required to be under warranty for 8 years or 80000 miles. I've heard it a thousand times, but can never remember for sure. As far as the warranty goes, Land Rover has to cover the warranty so I assume they would want to be the ones working on it. |
