well...now i got disco....still on winter wheels, but dealer &i agreed of new set of summer/allyear round tires...only "but" was that i have to choose between Cooper and Kumho. I think Cooper S/T 245-75-16 looks great on picture but do any of you have any idea hove this tire is? my use would be 30% off road and 70% on road. what do you think? one more question ABS breaks on a disco is it suppose to be rough? i mean i can realy FEEL ABS working, my previous car had much more smuuth and quiet ABS system, maybe something wrong? car stops and stops straith when braking hard. have a nice day --J-- |

Not entirely sure about the tires, because I run Yokohamas, but depending on the year that sounds like normal ABS behavior. You're right, it's not like other vehicles. My 96 has a brake pedal that shakes like a leaf and pulses, and groans, and creaks, but the brakes work fine. Welcome to the craziness! Andy |
