Help getting ignition wires

I only ran them for a few weeks. they arent even dirty yet. Traced it to be a bad wire. Dealer wanted over $10 for the one lousy wire, and it wasn't in stock. Since I wasn't so impressed with genuine, I bought a ~$40 set from a local imported auto parts store, and have not had any problems. They've been on the truck for about a year, so I can't tell you how long they'll last, but they have performed well, and I've put around 30K miles on them.
