what was the limited edition disco called that came with gray/gun metal wheels and a 2 tone interior seats of leather with fabric inserts?

its not the kalahari as they only came in yellow or orange and had a roof rack and related accessories.

it's not the g4 or the trek.

thanks

Kalaharis do not only come in yellow or orange; they also come in white: http://www.discoweb.org/kalahari/KalahariW.jpg.

Never say "only" or "always"... hmm... never say "never" either...

Sounds like the truck you are talking about is an LE. In 2001 when I got my SE, I remember the '01 DII LE had grey wheels. I also seem to remember it having the seats you are talking about. Below (next post) is a pic of an '01 LE. Those wheels?

I believe that they came in Yellow, White, and Grey. If you do a search ( upper right hand corner of screen if you scroll all the way back up ) using "Kalahari" you will see that this was talked about a few times on this site.

The Safari ? Can't remember if that was just a D1 limited edition or in D2 as well.

What stereo is in the "Kalahari?" I am disappointed that LR chose not to put the 220-WATT HK system in the G4. It is weird because the G4 Disco is somewhere inbetween the S and the SE here in the States. It has the fog lights, sunroofs and head light washers (alla SE) but then has the base 1-disc CD stereo, no CD changer, no armrests etc. Was the "Kalahari" based on an SE-type spec?

Thanks bill,

I just knew it wasnt a kalahari. The green one pictured is in fact the vehicle I was thinking of. I had heard someone call the 01 LE an antelope edition or some such name....His had a special badge kit on it.....he must of put it there.

Here's the seats

It's a "LE" edition. Only made in 2001. Only differences were the Typhoon wheels painted Gunsmoke Grey instead of Kalahari Black and the weird colored interior.
