Probably a topic beaten to death, but I am still keen to find XZLs and would love to put on the 9.00R16 size, but the more I look into it, I think that's going to be a little too difficult. Yes, I know that the military has first dibs on all of them, but has anyone found a source in N.A. for the 8.25R16 size ? I think I got close, a few times, but am not having much luck. Not in a big rush, because I've got a set of 265/70R16 SSRs to wear down first and also find a way to mount the taller spare on the back, but I was interested to hear what others had to say about finding them these days... BTW, other than being a bear to balance, the SSRs have been relatively quiet on the highway and fantastic in the water and mud. Whereas before I needed a running start, with the SSRs I just step right in and let the tires do all the work :-) Has anyone even found a N.A. source for the new "XZL O/R" tires for that matter ?
