I am trying to find a nice set of aftermarket polished alloys for my Disco II but with no luck. I am looking for 16x8" offroad wheels (I am not looking for 'dubs') to put a set of mudders on. I currently have the stock wheels but would like to dress up my Disco without loosing function. I cannot seem to find one online store that offers the Disco boltpattern (5x120). Anyone knows where I could find aftermarket alloys for Land Rover? |

Good luck finding them... I think LR did the "no-one-will-have-this-bolt pattern-but-us" trick just to make more money off of their "genuine" wheel sales... Only ones I have been able to find are actual LR wheels. Nothing that I have seen yet fits. Of course I stopped looking after I asked all of the major wheel shops with no avail. You might find them but the cost difference between the LR's and the aftermarket probably won't justify it. If they exist they are probably mucho $$$. LR does sell off road wheels. You can get them at places like Atlantic British, Rovers North and I think also Expeditions Exchange. Don't know about the polished though... |

Do you think a 5x4.75" boltpattern would fit? That is only 0.5mm difference which is a hardly anything. |

Stock Camaro wheels fit (the steel ones). I don't know how well, but they fit. I few guys in our club use them with their mud tires. There are after-market Camaro wheels; hence, shouldn't the after-market wheels for a Camaro fit a Disco II? I don't know the answer, but it seems logical. Maybe it is something you could investigate further. |
