you can get an Air force one air intake, that is similar from http://www.roveraccessories.com/index.html But you really shouldn't: http://www.discoweb.org/thewindow/index.htm

Okay. But is the square K&N worth getting? I have also thought of this...

Thanks!

Sheldon,

I have heard some people say they work great.

I was warned to stay away from it by other Discovery owners in my state. They said to stick with the stock filter because we have to much sand and fine dust down here for the K&N.

Good Luck, Jamie

Its not a race truck, forget the K&N.

Sooner or later you're gonna get wet, and that airforce one is going to suck that water right into your engine.

Stick with the stock filter in the airbox, and you'll be just fine.

Yeah, don't do it - unless you miss that check engine light. The performance gain is virtual and you're setting yourself up for other issues. I did the stock K&N first and then I ripped out the air box (on my RRC) and strapped on the biggest K&N open filter I could fit and even sprung for the "pre-filter" condom thingy. Once I got all the mud scraped out of the MAF I replaced the airbox and stuck in a new paper filter (less than $10 even at the LRDealer) and I'm happy now.
