Well yesterday we became the owners of a 2003 Discover AND a 2003 Freelander. Two Chryslers gone to trade-in heaven. I'm in NE Illinois and while it would be fun to find some places around here to go play with the cars, I'm REALLY looking forward to moving to CO this summer and exploring. I also have a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda convertible I play with in the nice weather (which sure isn't now). I'm sure I'll have numerous questions, but maybe every now and then I'll have an answer, too. | ||

Sean, WELCOME ABOARD! We are on our 3rd Disco in two years - and LOVE them! I just bought an 04 G4 edition Disco and my wife has an 03 HSE Disco. I traded in an 02 Disco for the G4 couple weeks ago. I'm glad you got the 03, I think the suspension, motor, brakes are better than the 02. I drove a 4-runner 11 years (before the 02 Disco) and think the LR is a much better car on and off road. Keep reading the board, there is a lot of stuff to learn about. I find that I have been treated with great respect and care with responses to my "newbie" questions unlike some bulletin boards on the net. Best wishes, Joel | ||
