All the folks who drive 95 or earlier Range Rovers get to call them Classic. It sounds cool, and I think that the Disco I has gotten old enough and dropped in value enough that we D1 drivers deserve to say Classic too!

All those for "Classic Disco's" say yey, all those opposed, ney.

What year would make it a "Classic" or not?

'95 like the RRC?

I don't think I would call mine a "Classic" any time soon.

Oh YEAH! That's right!!!

I think b/c the Disco is still produced in similar form (ie the series II doesn't look that different) it doesn't feel like a Classic to me. Maybe when the NEW Discuglys come out we can call her classy/ic! :-)

Jaime, I love those icon guys!!

They didn't make the D1 for 25 years. It doesn't even come close to being a Classic.

Our 25 yr/old design POS rear hatches have earned us the right to call our trucks Classics. :-)

shit, Land Rover is the one that started the whole classic thing when ever it was producing the P38aRR ands the Classic at the same time in 1995.

i agree with Ian about the POS rear hatch and would like to add that the lack of hot air comming from the front vents was another classic design.

Year of the body change to the P38 or whatever you want to call it.

Jaime,
She's WONDERFUL! Took her out Saturday for a drive in the country...little snow left, but still enjoyable. Just nice cruising...even took the dog!

Ivan changed the oil Friday night, checked all the fluids, etc. The old oil was like TAR! Discovered that the power mirrors don't work...and we found that the rear window wiper switch is totally broken. Will get a new one and see if that fixes the problem. We love her already...and will probably keep the miles low b/c she's a third car. She will get driven maybe 2-3 times a week.

PS I still haven't gotten to drive her,but I'm happy to ride as long as the Passenger side heated seat works! :-)

Rob, I thought Coke started the classic thing? :-)
Hey Sus, I sent you some mail, did you get it? I just learned today I've had some mail gone missing lately, so I thought I'd ask. You know, some days as long as the heated seat works, I could just sit and listen to the radio. Thank god we're having a little thaw.

Dag, Sus, not a thing in my mailbox from you since 1/29, which I replied to. I've got lost mail from both coasts, the UK and Germany. Sheesh. Try me again? Thanks.

Rob, you little cutie-pie, don't get me started ;)

Karen :-)
