Is the pitch of the D2 tie rod end the same as the D1? And what is the tread count and size of the D2 ends? |

no they are different, the D1 is 11/16-16 and the D2 is metric. i want to say 16X1.50 but i'll have to check my tap when i get home to make sure. also the D2 rods have a rod end that is a press fit, so if you're thinkin' of making new rods, you need to tap both ends with a left hand thread. marc |

hey Will, i was wrong, the D2 rod end thread pitch is M18x1.5 (metric left hand). i assume this is what you want or are you looking for the taper degree? if so, you would have to pull of an end and check with an angle finder, as i have no idea. hope that helps? marc |
