D2 A-pillar removal of trim?

I just pulled the trim straight away from its attachment points. Apply even pulling force, use both hands, and pull towards the opposite A-pillar. You will either remove the plastic fastener from the metal clip, or will remove both from the hole where the metal clip seats. Either way, it can stand to have this done a good number of times before it become loose.
