I have a 2000 discovery that LR says is pre-wired for a CD changer. If I purchase the Alpine unit(CHM-S630?) will I beed any other plugs or adapters. I have spoke with audio stores and can not seem to get the same answer twice.

Check the thread from a few days back re: 3rd party cd changers. Should explain everything.

Jeff,

Do a search for the last 720 days. There are 57 threads covering this.

Look at it this way the LR unit is $575-700 depending on where you find it, the aftermarket is around $250. Do you think that LR would allow the aftermarket unit to plug into their cable?
