Here's a good one for you. My brake lights (2 center and 1 high mount) work fine - UNTIL - I put on my parking or head lights. After turning them on, my passanger side brake light will not work. I had someone watch for me last night - and with my foot on the brake, the 3 brake lights would be on until I would turn the headlight control, then the passanger side brake light would go out but the drivers side and high mount light would still be on. All other lights work fine. Is there a simple fix for this? Is that bulb not in correct? Is it the wrong bulb? Ideas? Thanks. bz |

Brad, you should have a bulb with 2 contacts at the bottom, besides the metal housing used as earth. And it should be positioned correctly as well. It has two little thingies at the base, at different positions. Greetz, Joey |

A potential upgrade i am considering for [my beemer m/c first] for the 1156 and 1157 bulbs that are typical for a vehicle's tail and rear turn signal lamps: http://www.2kracing.com/product_info.php/products_id/1762

You probably have a ground problem. Check your tail lights for burned/black grounds or bulbs for filament grounding. |

I will check for any grounding issue. But what gets me is that the brake light does work fine UNTIL you turn on the headlights. Anyone else have any ideas on what to check?? I'll report back what I find. Thanks. bz |
