I understand there is a connector that I can unplug out of the ABS unit so that the "check engine" light will not go off once I have pulled all the ABS fuses. Can someone take a look at this picture and tell me which plug it is? Thanks \image {abs2}

Rob, disconnect the round power plug. The square connector is just sensor inputs. If a leter OBD2 truck - there is no guarantee that disconnecting pump power will not trip the "check engine". Or, you can also pull the 40 amp maxifuse under the hood - that is the same as disconnecting the pump power connector. Bill |

If it's OBD2 it will trip the ABS light--at least it did on mine. Alan Stuart |

Bill, So if I pull the ABS fuse under the hood I don't have to disconnect this plug? |

"ABS light will always be tripped - we're talking about "check engine" Yes, I should have been more clear by adding that the ABS light will be tripped---but not the check engine light. Alan |
