I am going to cut the lower part of the air dam off of the lower part of the front bumper and was wondering if anyone had advice on where to cut, what to cut with and pics if possible. It is getting all dented and scratched anyway so I would rather just get rid of it. Oh and anyone have problems with the stock brush gaurd tubes hitting the ground at inclines after they cut their air dam off? |

Search, there have to be close to a dozen active threads discussing this. The middle portion of the air dam unbolts, and then the end caps have a natural line on them you can follow to cut with a Dremel. |

Corey I had much better luck using a box cutter. The plastic was very easy to cut. |

You could always un-bolt the air dam and replace the endcaps with XD endcaps for a cleaner more refined look. Just a thought. Better yet, just replace the whole bumper with ARB or TjM. |

I removed the air dam and just cut the bottom part of the end caps using a dremel. The end cap has a horizontal ridge where I cut. I taped it with Duct tape and then used a dremel. Got a clean cut without any running. Hope this helps. Jay. |
