Hi,just thought i'd introduce myself since I'm a new member. This is my first Rover and first car. I can't wait to take it offroad and see what the discovery can do. Anyone know good spots or clubs in northern New Jersey?

It's a 94 Discovery with 92,000 miles and I love it already...

Don't know any spots in NJ. Join ROVERS they are based in Pa and are a great group of people.

Hey Chris,

That's a very nice and super clean D1 you have there. High school student I take it? Football, Baseball, Basketball player?

welcome,

Matt

Chris you sound like a Pingryite. We had a fleet of rovers there my senior year. The best place to go in jersey is the pinebarrens. I'll be back down there this summer and making alot of trips. 'till them get your feet wet with some easy local stuff by you if there is any. Keep an eye on the trails section here too.

Welcome aboard Chris!!! Congrats!!

There are a few trails close to you (Columbia Ave). Check out the pics of Route 280 in the Trails/events.

There are a few trails in Northern NJ but I don't think you want to take the Disco w/o at least a mild lift and bigger tires. The Pine Barrens is a good place to start.

Let me know when you are ready to hit the trails and I can organize an outing in central or northern NJ.

So Chris, that D1 is obscenely clean, especially for a 94! Do you wanna get muddy sometime, and get rid of that nasty shine? :-) Keep an eye on the trails section. Southern NJ Pine Barrens area is truly wonderful in places.

Welcome Chris! It's nice to see another Rover owner from northern NJ on Dweb.

The Pine Barrens are a load of fun, as is Paragon Off-Road Park in Hazelton, PA. (It's about two hours west of you.)

Hope to see you around,
-Eugene
