I pulled the A pillar for wire routing using the "brute force" method. The pillar came off perfectly but I cannot get it back on. I did the same thing with the passenger side A pillar and had no trouble. Please help.

Has anyone else had this happen to the exterior pillar trim?

Micah had the same problem. His email address is on his page here: http://www.houstonlandroverclub.com/mp_micah_cobb.html

We fought with it at my house for a bit, but we gave up. He ended up jacking with it later and eventually got it back on; I didn't ask him for the specifics, but if you email him, I'm sure he'll elaborate. Tell him I gave you his contact info if you like.

John,

I just got back inside. Spent the day installing a Dog Duard and waxing the Pig. Thank God for Turtle Wax Black. That stuff works great!

Anyway, check your email; I just replied to your earlier question.

Paul

Oh shit. Are you the guy that asked about this in an earlier thread? You were talking about the *exterior* trim? I thought you meant the interior trim. Sorry.

Looks like I broke a clip off of the pillar trim itself......needed a new pillar trim piece. I got it replaced but there is still a gap between the seal and the windshield. I'm leaving it alone though. If I tinker with it it's bound to worsen.
