Well, getting a Tdi is pretty much out of the question, just too much cost involved in the modification, and the $7000 - $10,000 engine itself doesn't help either. But the fact remains, at some point I will need to redo the top, if not most other parts of my 3.9L. The cost involved seems pretty hi, when I see that you can get a 4.6L installed for what people say is very little mods. Have any of you done this? And other than what I suspect is a CPU or EFI computer change, and some engine mounting differences, what things need to be modified? Can I keep the same drivetrain, same diff ratios? Where is a good place to buy? Here's to keeping the old DI!! |
