Will 16 inch D1 or D2 alloy wheels fit on a 2004 Range Rover. And if they fit, will they have the correct offset. Thanks in advance for any information. |

Not sure, but they might fit off of a D2 or 38A. Doubtful of the D1 though. |

Ive heard that an '04 RR wheel will fit on a D2. I assume that the reverse is also true then. You will also probably need D2 lugnuts. The bigger problem will be the brakes. 16' wheels might not have enough clearance inside. You could get a custom 16" with extreme offset so the brakes are not inside the wheel. |

Brakes are definitely the big problem. The discs on the RR will not allow for anything less than 18" wheels. |

Rick, would you happen to know who makes these custom 16" wheels with extreme offset. The discs on the Range Rover are much larger than those of the D2. Thanks |

Ive seen them in a couple off road magazines, i dont remember the website of company. You might want to try stockton wheel also, ive heard some good things about them but have not seen them in person. http://www.stocktonwheel.com/ also, 5x4.75 bolt pattern will fit, but it will not be "perfect" That pattern is more common. You could also put 18's on with Nitto 285/65/18 AT's or BFG 285/65/18 AT's or 35/12.5/18 MT's. Im running the BFG AT's |

They will not clear the calipers and rotors. The smallest that I know will clear is 18in as found on the diesel 04 RRs. If you really want 16s I would try BMW X5 wheels but I doubt they will fit. |
