well, my new BFG AT's are getting mounted Saturday and I am deciding whether to go white or black letters facing out. I think this was somewaht discussed in the infamous "stick" thread, but seeing as that has been deleted, I'm looking for input. I kinda think the white looks better althought you don't see too many LRs with the white facing out. Must be cause most jeeps do. Thoughts anyone? | ||

The only reason to have the white out is if your tires are worth more than the car they are on. | ||

hmmm I guess it is preference....most of my cars or trucks that I have owned I always put the white letter in, but my last set of tire I bought, which were for the Disco....I forgot to say and they didn't ask...so I have white letters out and it doesn't look bad on the disco as long as I keep them clean. And since I don't clean my vehicle as often as I should it just look okay... | ||

But if the white letters arent out how will the passerby's know that your tires are for offroad use? Of course this would only be helpful if the rest of your truck isnt muddy. cuz that might give it away too. Anyway enough sarcasm, if you like BFG and want to give them more advetising, mount white out. If you like all black, then mount letters in. I have my letters in. If BFG wants to sponsor my rig, ill reverse them. | ||

I had a mental fart when I had the tires mounted and have the letters out....and I don't like it. Its a willow green disco, and the white just doesn't make it with that color. I've seen a silver/gray disco with white letters out, and that looks fine to me. So go with your gut feel, its your truck. | ||

I like white letters but think them look silly on a Disco so the four on the ground are black and the spare is white letter out.. crazy yes but I like it. It is your truck do what ya like!!! Jim | ||

My white letters are still on the inside. I don't know if that is "correct", but I'm not going to go to the trouble of turning them around to the outside. As long as they get me where I want to go, I am happy  | ||

I hade white letters on the ouside for a while cuase i didnt realy care at the time when the shop put them on.. But within a couple months the lettering looked pretty trashy from rocks and stuff rubing it off. So now its white in, black out | ||

I put the white letters out and then paint each letter a differnt color. Im also going to buy some of that neon stuff to put under my rig. The chicks dig it. | ||
