Hi All, ive been having some problem with my D2 that doesnt show up on the OBD-II.
It started with gas mileage going from 11mpg down to 8 mpg city and hwy combonation. Second trouble came as poor exceleration with every gear, sometimes in power mode performance is back and sometimes its just a big DOG.
Ive done the following repairs to try to correct the problem:
Airfilter
Sprkplugs
Spark plug wire test
Fuel injector flush(few times).
Trans fluid replacement
Diff fluid replacement
MAF Sensor replacement
Exhaust gasket replacement on right side
New valve cover replacement
Radiator flush
New radiator 6 months ago
New rotoflex replacement kit by GBR
New front greaseble shaft.

Anyone info will be appreciated
Cheers
Alen

Which Disco listed in your profile is giving you trouble? I am gonna go out on a limb and tell you that you must have some computer malfunction, if your problem is somewhat erratic. Seems like you might be running rich, have you had a look into the oxygen sensors? They are what tell the computer a lot of what to do. The OBD II may not be good enough, you probably need to go to a place that has testbook. But, I would think about the oxygen sensors.

Matt, its the 2000 D2 it has 65k on it.
It seems like my problems started after my #3 spark plug went bad.

Have you had the real diagnostics hooked up? You may need to have a code cleared or something, like the computer is still thinking it needs to compensate for a weak ignition.

The only code that showed was bad #3 plug , after installing new set of plugs everything read fine on OBD-II.
