I went out to my D1 yesterday, after not driving it for a few days and I opened up the rear cargo door and was surprised with what I saw. The one side off my cargo mat was covered in ice. I tried looking around and can only think that maybe the back door isn't closing tight enough. Is there anyway to adjust it, to get a better seal?? Thanks for the help. |

there's a way to adjust it but you might need a friend to help.. you can adjust the door by loosening the bolts on the body side where the hinge isand adjust the door that way.. as for seal.. your best off to go to a auto shop and get the thickness door seal and put it on that way... heard and found out that the door seals which land rover has is not the best take care

My daughter said 'dad, I can see daylight through the back door'. Yep, the spare tire finally put enough pressure on those hinges to warp the alignment. I went to my dealer in in 30 minutes, my door was once again aligned. That was about 3 years ago, it is getting close for another alignment. Advice, if you have a good dealer, ask for if they can take a look and adjust it. Good luck. |
