My Temperature gauge on my 95 disco guit reading the temp. It moves up a little and then movesback down to nothing. Is it sommething to do with the thermostat. |

If you are getting heat from the heater, then it may be the sending unit....if you get almost no heat, then probably the t-stat stuck open. |

Check the cable to the sending unit, it's really thin and after it gets too old it gets brittle therefore it could malfunction. It could also be the actual sending unit, when I replaced mine my old one was covered in coolant crud!!!! |
