Greetings from California, USA. I stumbled across your site while doing some research for my new vehicle. I purchased a 2000 Land Rover Discovery, and am in the process of "personalizing" it. I have always been a fan of Land Rover, and finally got the opportunity to buy one, and learn more about them. Never a fan of "stock" vehicles, I am trying to customize mine. My question is regarding the 03/04 Headlight assemblies, and the fitment into an older Disco. I know the conversion has been done in the UK, but the few people that I have talked to have not been very forthcoming with the details of the process. Do you have any information, or know of anyone that may be of help in this? I really like the new look of the Disco, and I dont think it would be very hard to retro-fit the lighting assemblies, I just think it would be helpful to talk to someone that has experience with it. I'm not out of the realm of purchasing a kit, however, I already bought US spec lights, and really only need the bracketry, the headlight finishers, and whatever else in necessary to complete the conversion. Thank you very much. Ryan Kirkman 1st time Land Rover owner |

Ryan, there have been tons of threads on this in the past. I have no personal experience in this area, so I will refer you to the most knowledgeable member of this board: the search function. |

Ryan, last time this issue was posted, someone suggested that Northwest Parts sells a conversion kit. Perhaps you can contact them. Glenn |

According to NWP, new fenders, cowl, wiring harnesses, mounts, and possibly more are required for the conversion...might be better to just buy a 03 or 04...you'll get the lights and a 4.6!
