Hey Guys... Was checking things out once again here and thought that maybe we need to update some things, and maybe we should start with the "Tires & Wheels" in Tech. Dunno what is easier for Ho, but I think itll be good if we start up with concrete "REAL" fitments with as much detail as possible and maybe even a picture and a star level of difficulty (out of 5, a la Haynes manual)... I suggest the following: Vehicle: 1992 Discovery Mileage on current suspension: <10,000KM Body Type: 5 doors Suspensions lift: Front: OME 764s, OME N73 Rear: OME 763s + 3/4" spacers, OME N29 + custom lower mounts Anti-Roll Bars: No Body lift: Yes, 2" Cutting: Yes, Rangie Spares Flares Bump Stops: Yes, Front 2.5", Rear 4.5" with 2" blocks Wheels: Size: 15x8 Offset: 0 Tires: Brand: Simex Extreme Trekker Size: 35x10.5x15 Other data: Extended rear llinks 3/4" Rubbing: None Difficulty: ***** Example of a less radical Disco: Vehicle: 1998 Discovery Mileage on current suspension: 57,000KM Body Type: 5 doors Suspensions lift: Front: stock Rear: stock Anti-Roll Bars: Yes, front and Rear (Stock) Body lift: No Cutting: Yes, Rear Quarters Bump Stops: No Wheels: Size: 16x7 Offset: Stock Tires: Brand: Pirelli Scorpion AT Size: 245/75 R 16 Other Data: No Rubbing: None Difficulty: * I think this is a much more detailed idea and can be put in a nice table for all to see. Also, if any of you guys feel that I missed something, please lets add it on...Ho, are you up for this? |
