With a 3 inch lift on a D1: - OME764 springs + N73 shocks in the front - OME762 springs + N44 shocks + 1" spacers in the rear with Scorpion Racing lowered upper shock mounts , which height of bumpstops do I need to install. Thanks, Tarek |

In the tech section look under bumpstops-longer. I just got finished doing this same thing to mine. Very easy |

Tarek, A. Its not the suspension set-up that specificates the bumpstops...its the TIRE size and how much stuffage u need/want/allow. Suggest u take off the springs and let the car down and much as possible before the metal meets the rubber. Then u know where u need them. B. Why still with N44s in the rear...go N25 (Patrol GQ) or even N29 (Patrol GU). GREAT. |

Hi Nadim, a. I am using a tire size of 265/75R16 MTR's, do you know approx. the height of bumpstops required inorder not to harm the springs. b. Did not know that N25's or N29's fitted in the rear of a D1. Did not read that anywhere. Why are they better than N44's? |

Tarek, a. with that tire siye, I dont think youll have an issue with the stock bumpstops, or you may need a 1-2" extension. b. N25s fit without any modifications and are longer than the N44 with very close rating. They are used in Patrol GQ rears. They will require kinked rear arms and cones. The N29s are used in the newer GU Patrols in the rear (4 doors) and are therefore a wee bit stiffer, and have an eye-eye connection which I prefer. They are also a wee bit longer. |
