I have a Superwinch Husky 10. I need to replace the cable. I just got a Agri-Supply catolog that has 100' of galvanized 3/8", 7x19 aircraft cable for $20.95. Someone who should know (he owns a prominent 4x4 vendor, and sells Superwinch) tells me there is no real difference in cables. However, because the price is so low, I am a little wary. What do you guys think?

Thanks for the help.

Have you considered synthetic winch lines?

I can not speak on the stregth on the line you are looking at specifically. I do know that almost all truck/ 4x4 vendors and marketers grossly inflate the prices of such items. I go to a local farm supply store for almost all of my off-road hardware because it is so much cheaper.....it is sort of like the Sam's Club for off-road stuff
