I know i will get some smart asses on this one but here goes.

When i accelerate I swear it sounds like water swishing back and forth. I can't make out where it is coming from but sounds like the passenger side in the engine compartment. Cloged drain for the A/C? Where are the drain plug/hoses on DII?

Thanks

Bluesman,

Turn up your radio. That's what I did after three attempts at the LR dealership. Mine is getting softer and softer with time. I was told it was a little bit of air in the heater core and it would eventually find it's way out.

Good Luck,

Gerry

thanks - just wanted to make sure i wasn't getting some kind of water buildup somewhere.

I'll just crank up some Elmore James and forget all about it!

Not too worry you or anything, but I had a dissappearing coolant problem and it turned out to be a bad engine block. The coolant was seaping into a cylinder. Keep an eye on those spark plugs

Common on the D2, its actually the water in the sunroof drain hose being sucked back out and up by the airflow over the sunroof, sounds like its comming from the engine bay but if you get a passenger to really track it down its from the headlining near the sunroof

I couldn't work out what it was until I asked the dealer, He laughed and said, everybody asks what it is

Now I know its obvious what the sound is. Its the airspeed over the car thats important and thats why it appears to happen at a particular rev range

Eric ,

Were you losing alot of coolant? Mine is dipping slightly but this is the first time. I had a valve job already and the radiator was replaced.
