I am considering 2 different 2000 Discovery's. One is a Alveston Red/Grey SE with 23K miles. The other is Chawton White/Beige SE7 with 38K miles. I have given the dealer a price I can not exceed. I will be buying the 5yr/100K warranty with either. Both carfaxs are clean. My concern is if 38K miles is too high for a used Discovery? Still under the average per year. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

I would buy either of the trucks I am more partial to white than red but the lower milage is a plus to buying ay vehicle. Warranty's are good. So is a documented service record |

I have a 2000 that has over 70,000 miles on it. Since you didn't say what you're paying for it, and it's obviously none of our business but for that low milage of a vehicle you're likely going to have to pay more than if it were like mine. From where I sit I wouldn't pay more about $17,000 for it if everything else is in great shape. |

Probably more like $16K tops regardless of low mileage. Trade-in value for a used '00 D2 w/ all the bells and whistle is only $15.6K w/ low miles. I have a '00 D2 w/ 54K miles and wished the BB was higher but then again its a great truck. |
