Hi,

i finally got stock front shaft out (took quite a while :-(() and now to get and replace 4 flange bolts on transmission end - i need to take flange off. However damn nut that holds flange in place is either VERY tight or its opposite direction thread.

So can someone tell me if its normal thread (i.e unscrewing comes anti-clockwise) or opposite? So when i will apply real force i would know which direction to apply :-)

Thanks!

It is standard thread direction, (lefty loosey :-) )It is a nylock nut with threadlocker also which makes it tougher than some - torque spec is pretty high too.

Either use an impact wrench or a 2 ft breaker bar - it will come off easily then.
