Looking on feedback on Pepboy's futura enforcer MT's. Did a search but wasn't coming up with much. Firewall at work is playing havoc with this site. I have a 96 d1 and saw these tires in the 245-75-16 at a pretty good price. Just wondering if they are at a good price because they aren't that good of a tire. Feedback good and bad appreciated.

They are actually made by Cooper, but rebranded Futura for Pep Boys. Many people (including myself) run them, and they are good tires. Mine has survived Rubicon, Dusy Ershim, a few trips to Moab and all the road miles between NJ and those places. For what Pep Boys charges for them, they are a good value.

Good tires. I currently have BFG MT's but like the Cooper MT's (as Axel said same as Futura MT's). Also available at America's Tire under Durango MT's name.

I did a 15,000 mile road trip on them this summer including northwest and southwest trails and never had an issue. I think once you get past the "buying pep boys tires" bs they are a great value. They arent so hot on ice and snow, but no MT is.

I have heard they are great tires but when I tried to get them in December I was told they were being discontiued. I called three stores and go the same story. Maybe it is just regional.

I had the 265 75 enforcers and do a lot of wheeling in muddy conditions. They aren't a bad tire for the price and work well in most conditions, but are not a very good "mud" tire. They don't seem to clean out like others. I would probably suggest spending the extra $50 or so and get a different tire. Can't lose with the BFG MT.

I agree with Steve. My experiance with running Enforcers MTs have been that they are not great in mud and they throw lugs and tear up in the rock. While they have not left me with a flat, the amount I chew them up and have to replace them is not cost effective but then again, I can be hard on them.
