I need to disconnect the battery to reset a Tv installation in the car, will I run into this trouble and if I do, what do I do?   Axel Haakonsen (Axel) Moderator Username: Axel Post Number: 969 Registered: 02-2003 Posted on Monday, February 16, 2004 - 08:17 am:    Whenever you disconnect the battery, you will have to enter an activation code into the radio to make it useable. It's an anti-theft feature, and it is described in your manual. The previous owner should have the code. I disconnect my battery all the time (for random wiring of this and that) and I've never had to enter a code.
